Royal monitors transactions on your cards to help prevent fraudulent activity. If we notice activity outside your normal spending patterns, we may potentially block the transaction. To help prevent having transactions blocked while you are traveling, it is important to notify Royal of your travel plans by placing travel memos on your card. 

 

To place travel memos through Online Banking:

 

  1. Click the Cards tab at the top of the page, select Travel Notifications or Card Management
    1. If you select Card Management, you will select the card to add notifications to. If you click on Travel Notification, no card will be selected
  2. Click Create Notificationand enter the dates, locations and any additional information needed
    1. If necessary, select the appropriate card
  3. Click Submit Notification


To place travel memos through the Mobile App:


  1. Click on More at the bottom of the screen
  2. Under the Cards option, click on Travel Notifications or Card Management
    1. If you select Card Management, you will select the card to add notifications. If you click on Travel Notification, no card will be selected
  3. Click Create Notification and enter the dates, locations and any additional information needed. 
    1. If necessary, select the appropriate card
    2. Click Submit Notification
